Dr. Doug Sheets, a gynecologist with Rutherford OB/GYN, serves as President of the NC Medical Society. As President, he is the primary spokesperson for the NC Medical Society (NCMS) and acts as Chairman for the Board of Directors of the Society. Dr. Sheets plans to represent the NCMS at various governing bodies and committees, as well as meeting with neighboring state societies and governmental entities.

Lucy Calhoun, RNC, LCCE, IBCLC, has for years been the Great Expectations Coordinator at The Birth Place of Rutherford Hospital. Recently, Lucy took on the role of Childbirth/Women's Health Coordinator. For women of all ages Lucy is your personal resource to assist you with all your women's health needs, from prenatal education to menopause.
